Angels Wings

As the years went by, we got used to Diddley’s idiosyncrasies. When her mother, the lovely Sarah, died, she developed a new one. If she found a single white feather in front of her she would say… “That’s my Mum, telling me she is alright.” We thought it a nice sentiment. She told us she believed in angels.

Now, years later, a friend sent us this picture. No explanation. It just turned up on Bobby’s computer. What follows is not our words, but may give you cause to think. Diddley would definitely approve.

“Finding a white feather can usually be taken as a sign that your angels are watching over you. More often than not, it represents the presence of an angel.

When you find one, it means that one of your angels has just visited you, or perhaps is still visiting you here within the physical realm. You can always take a moment to thank them for their support.

Another common meaning behind white feathers is that a loved one is watching over you from the spirit realm. It’s possible that this white feather is simply a sign of that, but in some cases it can reflect their desire to make contact with you.

Either way, when you find a feather in this instance, you’ll likely feel familiar energy. You’ll find yourself thinking of someone in particular, or remembering a moment from your past involving that person.

Finally, feathers can simply represent a good omen. They can remind us to remain strong, positive, optimistic, and determined. No matter what you’re going through in life, this symbol should provide a sense of comfort.

It’s telling you to remember that everything is going to be OK!”

Lighting a Candle for Diddley

Bertie sat on the window sill at Laurel Cottage with a vase of colourful flowers and a candle lit for Diddly in front of him.

Bobby always picked the first bunch of sweet peas from his allotment for his beloved.
And still does…
